Microsoft Purview | Exact Data Match to support up to 500 EDM evaluations

Microsoft is expanding its Exact Data Match (EDM) detections from 100 to 500, which means that organizations can configure policies for solutions such as Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, or Records Management, with minimum and maximum unique instance counts up to 500. This update, associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 100712, is expected to roll out from mid-February and will be completed by the end of February 2023. It should be noted that the value "Any" for max instance count remains an option. No action is required to enable this capability, and organizations can edit existing policies or configure new policies to specify unique instance counts with a value up to 500.
