SharePoint Site Sharing experience has been revamped to leverage the Azure B2B Invitation Manager instead of the SharePoint Invitation Manager to invite new external users. This change is scheduled for General Availability release in March CY2023 and will be available on the Web Cloud Platform's Standard Multi-Tenant Instance as well as GCC, DoD and GCC High. The modification ensures that the users invited to share SharePoint site are managed effectively with Azure B2B Invitation Manager, improving the experience for both the internal and external users.
If you are a SharePoint user, be prepared for a seamless transition to the improved Site Sharing experience. This change aims to further enhance the platform's functionality and improve its collaboration capabilities.
