Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Protection of password protected, unscannable, and partially scannable document

Microsoft is introducing new features to SharePoint DLP that will enable the protection of password-protected, unscannable, and partially scannable documents. These three predicates are set to be released during the Preview Release phase in August CY2023, with the Product Release phase scheduled for September CY2023. The platform will be available on the web cloud instance for Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), making it accessible to a range of users.
