Remove Custom Script setting in OneDrive and SharePoint web

If you're an administrator on OneDrive and SharePoint web, you should know that the Custom Script setting will be removed in March 2024, meaning that the default behavior of self-service created sites or personal sites can no longer be controlled. However, the ability to temporarily enable custom script usage through PowerShell will still be possible. The removal of this setting means that administrators will not be able to add, modify or remove scripts after the deadline. But it won't have any impact on the ability to execute existing scripts in OneDrive and SharePoint sites.
To prepare for this change, administrators can request an extension within the SharePoint admin center, which will keep the setting available until June 2024. If you are an administrator, make sure to review the relevant articles to ensure you're up to speed with these changes.
