SharePoint: Microsoft 365 Archive for Sites
Microsoft has rolled out a new feature for SharePoint, which allows you to archive inactive sites and save on storage costs that may exceed your quota limit. This handy feature enables users to keep their SharePoint storage in check and avoid running into storage issues, especially when dealing with inactive sites. The feature has been available for preview since November CY2023, with its official release slated for March CY2024. The platform is web-based and cloud-hosted, with a Standard Multi-Tenant instance available worldwide.
