Microsoft 365 Groups in Outlook: Users can now choose to switch to the new Groups experience in Outlook on the web
Users of Microsoft 365 Groups in Outlook have reason to rejoice since it is now possible to switch from the old Groups experience to the new Groups in Outlook on the web. The transition is optional, and users can choose to switch back to the old Groups if desired. This change began rolling out in mid-February 2024 and is expected to complete by late March 2024. The new Groups feature provides a central hub for users to connect and collaborate with their teams. The benefits of this new experience include a revamped home page, where users can find quick links to emails, files, events, and members to stay updated on their groups. Additionally, users can effortlessly create, consume, and share information related to a group on the updated groups, and efficiently manage events and members with fewer clicks. To switch to the new Groups experience in Outlook, users need to go to the left navigation and select groups, and then click on "switch to new groups" to make it the default. This transition process offers an excellent opportunity to increase collaboration within your organization by adopting the latest communication tools.
