Windows and mobile app changes from Office to Microsoft 365
If you use the Office app for work, school, or personal use, take note: it is being rebranded as the Microsoft 365 app. This change will not impact existing accounts, profiles, subscriptions, or files. After January 18, 2023, the app will automatically update with a new icon displaying the Microsoft 365 name. This means no matter where you access Microsoft 365 - whether it be on the web, via the Microsoft Store, or through Google Play or the Apple App Store - the new icon and name will be visible. As an administrator, you may want to update any training or documentation to reflect this change. For more information, refer to Additional Information.
