April 2024 Windows Non-Security Preview Update Available
The latest non-security preview update for Windows 11 and supported versions of Windows 10 has been released in April 2024. The update includes improvements to the Widgets icons and reliability of Widgets on the lock screen. The Start menu will now show some Microsoft Store apps in the Recommended section, and the update also includes a larger set of animated icons.
To install this update, instructions can be found in the KB for your OS. The June 2024 security update marks the last security release for Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise editions of Windows 10, version 21H2. Windows 10, version 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will remain in support with monthly security updates through October 14, 2025.
