Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Extend DLP controls to Firefox browser (U.S. Government clouds)
This update brings good news for Purview DLP users - extended browser compatibility with Firefox! Administrators can set policies to prevent sensitive data exfiltration through Firefox by restricting actions such as copying data from sensitive documents to other documents using the Clipboard, printing sensitive documents, copying to removable USB media, or copying to network shares. This enhancement will be generally available for all users from November CY2023 onwards and is compatible with web cloud instances for GCC High, GCC, and DoD.
