Workflows within Microsoft Teams chats menu
Microsoft Teams is set to introduce workflow capabilities through Power Automate in the overflow menu for chats. To improve the workflow experience for users, configuration of workflows for chats will be simplified. Users can access a list of templates designed for workflows specific to chats within Teams from the overflow menu for a particular chat. They can then customize these templates according to their needs and deploy them to the chat. Note that this functionality will only be available within the New Teams client and will not be visible if the Power Automate app is disabled in the Teams Admin Center. The rollout for this feature is expected to begin in mid-November and is set to be completed by late November 2023. For organizations that use workflows, it is recommended to make users aware of this change so they can locate the new entry point. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 180364.
