Microsoft Teams: Audio zones enable Mesh creators to craft custom audio experiences
Microsoft Teams' Mesh now offers spatial audio to simulate sound in a real-world setting such that sound volumes change as you move away from the source of the sound. The introduction of audio zones takes it up a notch by enabling creators/Mesh managers to design audio experiences tailored to the intended use of a space. Audio zones offer several features like extended audio drop-off distance for conversations in large areas, and restriction of audio input into designated areas, preserving the peace in neighboring areas. This feature is available on both desktop and cloud instances, worldwide, and via the Standard Multi-Tenant feature.
