Microsoft Teams: Spatial audio in Teams meetings

The Microsoft Teams audio experience in meetings is being enhanced with Spatial audio - where the voices of attendees in meetings will be spatialized across the visual meeting stage. This new audio experience creates an immersive soundscape for Teams meetings, making it easy to follow conversations during meetings with multiple speakers. This feature is available when using a wired stereo headset or built-in stereo speakers on the macOS or Windows client. The rollout for this feature is expected to be completed sometime in June for standard release. Users can select either the wired stereo headset or the built-in stereo speakers on the meeting pre-join screen before they join the meeting, and the Spatial audio introduction can be found under the Device Settings on the meeting toolbar. There are no admin policy settings required to enable this feature, and it will be available for all users with supported devices using the macOS or Windows client.
