Outlook: Disallow Reactions on Specific Emails
The upcoming improvements to the Reactions feature in Outlook will include the ability for senders to disallow reactions on specific emails and for admins to control which emails in their tenant should disallow reactions. The server-side support for this feature will begin rolling out in late August 2023 and is expected to be completed by mid-September 2023. This feature will provide organizations with more options to fine-tune whether emails coming from outside their tenant should not allow reactions, and give users more control to disallow reactions on certain emails they are about to send. Documentation regarding this feature will be published soon. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 117433.
Overall, Outlook users can expect these new capabilities to better control reactions and increase their agency for communication management.
