Microsoft OneDrive: Change to shared folder experience
Microsoft OneDrive is introducing an update to its shared folder experience, where users will access shared folders via the People view in their own OneDrive, organized by the sharer, starting in late July 2024. Previously, users were taken to a view of the folder within the sharer's OneDrive. However, with the new experience, users will be taken to the shared folder within the People view of their own OneDrive. This change requires no admin action and will commence automatically. However, it is recommended to inform users about this change and update relevant documentation. More information can be found on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 395378.
