New Gallery in Teams Meetings
Teams meetings and calls are getting a revamped version of the gallery that will be the default view for users when they join their meetings. This change is set to roll out in early November 2023 and will introduce changes designed to make meetings more predictable and inclusive. These changes include 16:9 aspect ratio participant tiles, audio-video mixed gallery displays, and customization options that allow users to adapt the gallery to their needs. Additionally, meeting rooms will be displayed larger than individual participants, and users' own tiles will be included next to the rest of the participants. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 118467.
