Edit and Reply disabled in file previewer

In a recent update, Microsoft has announced that the functionality to edit and reply with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from email attachment previews in Outlook will be retired. Although users can still edit files using web or desktop apps, they will no longer be able to do so directly from attachment previews. Instead, they will have to open the attachment in a web or desktop app, edit the file, and save it to OneDrive before attaching or sharing it as a link.

This change will be rolled out in late June 2023. While this may impact users who regularly use this feature, it is still possible to edit files via other means and attach or share them as needed. Organizations using this feature may need to update their training and documentation to reflect this change.
