Microsoft Teams: Chat between multi-tenant organization contacts will default to external chat
Microsoft Teams is introducing a new default setting for 1:1 chat between contacts in a multi-tenant organization (MTO). This change will create a single conversation thread and default to external chat, with existing B2B chat threads being available as read-only. This update will be available for iOS and worldwide cloud instances by January 2024. This change aims to streamline communication between MTO contacts and provide a smoother user experience.
