Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Endpoint DLP – Sanctioned and unsanctioned site groups for different sensitive files (U.S. Government clouds)

Microsoft has introduced a new capability in their Purview compliance portal for Endpoint DLP (Data Loss Prevention) that enables users to create groups of service domains and manage restrictions for those groups within the DLP policy.

For security and compliance purposes, businesses can now control the upload of sensitive data to specific locations, such as corporate SharePoint sites, while blocking the upload to other unsanctioned sites. This new feature is currently in the General Availability Release phase and is set to be released in May 2023. It is available on desktop platforms and cloud instances for U.S. Government clouds including DoD, GCC, and GCC High.
