Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Ability to assign alerts & cases to an owner

This update to the Microsoft Purview compliance portal allows admins to assign cases or alerts to other admins, analysts and investigators, improving collaboration and enhancing visibility into case management. Using Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management, various signals are correlated to detect potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as data leakage, IP theft and security violations. The tool also facilitates the creation of policies to ensure security and compliance, with privacy features like users being pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls, and audit logs to protect user-level privacy. This phase of the product release is expected to be previewed in June CY2023, with a release date set for September the same year, and will be available on the web cloud instance platform worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant).
