Windows Hotpatch in Autopatch Public Preview
Windows Autopatch is announcing a new feature set, which is now available in public preview, to allow IT administrators to take security updates without disruption through hotpatch updates. By opting-in your devices into the hotpatch program, you can receive Monthly B release security updates that can be installed seamlessly without requiring device restarts for your Windows 11 24H2 devices. This feature is designed to reduce downtime and disruptions while minimizing the need to restart devices, ensuring faster compliance, and making it easier for organizations to maintain security while keeping workflows uninterrupted. To prepare for Windows Autopatch Groups' functionality and benefits, ensure that the necessary requirements are met or the changes cannot be made to your tenant. If you have any questions or concerns, or need assistance, file a service request by visiting the Support section of the Microsoft Intune admin center.
