Microsoft Purview compliance portal: eDiscovery – EXPORT ENHANCEMENTS

The Microsoft Purview eDiscovery team has made significant improvements to the export feature, a core fundamental of the solution. With the new user experience in purview.microsoft.com, customers will have a unified export experience for both Standard and Premium cases. This means that the behavior is now the same across all export jobs, providing the same download experience, report experience, and error messages. Standard customers can now directly download data through a browser without needing to install a click-once application, which was previously required. Additionally, customers can experience a faster export capability through enhancements in backend architecture and optimized partition. The new export enhancements will be available for general availability release on December CY2024, with a preview date set for November CY2024.
