Configuration of Private CDN is no longer required for SharePoint Online

Great news for SharePoint Online users! As of March 2023, configuration of Private CDN will no longer be required. This change will be automatically managed within the SharePoint online service, eliminating the need for users to manually configure private CDN for their environment.
Public CDN, however, should still be configured as recommended. There should be no impact on organizations during this change, and users are not required to do anything to prepare for it. If you have any further questions, Microsoft support is available to assist.
