Microsoft Copilot Now Available for B2B Members in Multi-Tenant Organizations (MTO)
Microsoft has announced that its tool Copilot is now available for Business-to-Business (B2B) members in Multi-Tenant Organizations (MTO). This means that users with B2B (shadow) identities can access Copilot during Teams meetings if they have a license in their host tenant, enhancing collaboration and productivity across organizations. To ensure that the feature aligns with each organization's security and access policies, a new policy setting in Teams Admin Center (TAC) allows IT admins to manage and control Copilot access specifically for B2B members. The policy will be enabled by default and can be disabled in the Teams Admin Center. The rollout began in mid-December 2024 and is expected to be completed by late December 2024. If your organization has MTO setup, B2B members will have access to Copilot during Teams meetings.
