Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Barriers v2 support for all new onboarding customers
Microsoft Purview, the compliance portal, has recently made Information Barriers v2, with enhanced architecture, available to all new onboarding customers. The update empowers users with features like large-scale segment support and multi-segment support, including flexible user discoverability. Previously capped at 1,000, the segment limit in organizations has increased significantly to 5,000, making it possible for users to assign up to 10 segments. Moreover, through the enhanced architecture, IB-protected users can discover each other while adhering to IB communication and collaboration policies, enabling efficient and secure sharing. The General Availability Release date for this Microsoft Purview compliance portal update is July CY2024, and it is available on Web Cloud Instance GCC, GCC High, DoD.
