Microsoft 365: Information Barriers (IB) upgrading from IB v1 to IB v2 with new capabilities

If you're familiar with Information Barriers (IB) V1 within Microsoft 365, it's time to upgrade to the newly-improved IB V2 with exciting new capabilities. The latest version is designed to provide support for larger segments, allowing you to manage multi-segments comfortably. It also comes with flexible people discoverability, giving you more options when discovering relevant content. These new features provide a more efficient and streamlined experience while managing IB.

Note that only existing IB V1 tenants require an upgrade to IB V2. If you're not already using Information Barriers in your organization, you'll gain access to the latest capabilities when you enable it.

Get ahead of the curve and take advantage of the new capabilities in Information Barriers V2 today. This item is currently in the preview phase and will be released on the standard multi-tenant worldwide platform in November CY2023. Visit the Microsoft 365 roadmap for more information on how to upgrade to IB V2.
