Workflows Message Extension will be updated to include new pinned default actions

The Workflows Message Extension in Microsoft Teams will soon receive an update with new default actions that aim to improve collaboration between users. The new actions will help simplify common, multi-step activities within any conversation in Teams, such as meetings, tasks, and status updates from others. Most workflows post an adaptive card to increase transparency across the group. This update will roll out from early November to mid-November and will not erase existing user-created actions or prevent the creation of new actions from within Workflows. However, if the Teams app updates are disabled, the updates default action will not be listed in the Workflows Message Extension.

If your tenant uses the Workflows Message Extension, consider informing your users of this change, and if applicable, enable the Teams app updates. Stay ahead of the game and leverage the new default actions in your Teams workflow to make collaboration a breeze!
