Microsoft Teams: New Show/Hide toggle setting for Discover Feed in General settings

Microsoft Teams: New Show/Hide toggle setting for Discover Feed in General settings

A new toggle setting in Microsoft Teams for Desktop and Mac will allow users to show or hide the Discover Feed. This feature will start rolling out in late July 2024 and is expected to be globally available by mid-August 2024. Users will be able to go to Settings and more and General to turn the Discover Feed on or off. This feature is on by default and all Teams users on Desktop and Mac can use it if desired. Admin action is not required for the automatic rollout.

This update brings more flexibility to Teams users who can choose to turn off the Discover Feed, which was not possible before. The Discover Feed offers a personalized and curated way for users to discover new content and discover more about Teams. This setting will be available through a toggle switch in the general settings of Teams, allowing users to turn off the Discover Feed and have a cleaner user interface.
