Microsoft Teams: Cross location Shifts

Microsoft Teams has released a new feature called "Cross-Location Shifts" that empowers frontline workers in accessing and selecting open shifts from multiple locations within a region. This feature opens up shift availability across multiple locations, thereby providing managers with a larger labor pool. Workers from one store location can select a shift in any other store within their region, using both desktop and mobile applications. The feature is available for worldwide use and was released in the general availability phase in July CY2024. This new feature is a game-changer for organizations that rely on frontline workers, enabling them to efficiently assign and manage shifts across multiple locations.
