Quick Actions with Copilot directly on OneNote canvas – Rewrite, Summarize, Todo

OneNote for Win32 is introducing Copilot quick actions on the canvas with the addition of Rewrite, Summarize, and Todo features, enhancing feature discoverability and notetaking efficiency. Users can simply click the Copilot icon and immediately rewrite a selection of text on a page, summarize project updates, or extract tasks from an email sent to OneNote. The update, linked with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 417476, is set to roll out from mid-November to mid-December 2024. This new update will further increase the discoverability of Copilot features and allow users to utilize the quick actions more easily and directly on the canvas. Admins should inform users about the update to help them take advantage of these new features. It's important to note that these features will only be available for OneNote for Win32. Therefore, admins should help keep OneNote users informed on the release updates as a regular update.
