Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Full document fingerprinting
Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) has introduced Document Fingerprinting which allows standard forms to be converted into sensitive information types (SIT). This update will extend support for fingerprint-based SITs to additional workloads such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Endpoint. It will also enable administrators to adjust the threshold while creating Fingerprint SITs. The feature is set to be released in September 2023, and it will be available on Web Cloud Instance GCC, GCC High, and DoD.
