SharePoint Premium Content Query has made a recent update, allowing columns in newly created libraries to become available for content query. This enhancement offers a new level of flexibility and searchability to the library. Additionally, users can choose to trigger an action that will make all columns in existing libraries available to content query as well. The update is part of the general availability release phase of SharePoint, and the release date is set for April of 2024. This enhancement applies to the web cloud platform, and the worldwide standard multi-tenant instance. For more information on this update, visit the roadmap link provided.
