Microsoft Purview | Data Lifecycle Management: Increased limits per label for disposition review and proof of disposition

Microsoft Purview has stepped up its data lifecycle management capabilities by removing the per label limit of 1,000,000 items for disposition review and proof of disposition, including record labels. This feature enhances the overall limit for a tenant to have 16,000,000 total items in the disposition review and disposed categories. This was announced as a preview release on December CY2022, with the product release expected to occur sometime in January CY2023. The platform will be available on a web cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant). With this improvement, data managers and administrators can handle and manage more data without having to worry about the per-label limit, allowing them to streamline data lifecycle management efficiently.
