Microsoft 365 network connectivity test tool supports Microsoft 365 Copilot public preview

Microsoft has announced that the Microsoft 365 network connectivity test tool will soon support Microsoft 365 Copilot in Public Preview. This will allow testing of network connectivity, WebSocket enablement, and latency, and will be available from dedicated URLs, including on mobile devices. The rollout will be automatic, and it is expected to begin in early December 2024 and be completed by mid-December 2024. This tool can be used to help users debug network connectivity or performance issues specifically for Microsoft 365 Copilot. The admin documentation for the Microsoft 365 network connectivity test tool has been updated to reflect this rollout.
This improvement to Microsoft 365 network connectivity test tool will aid in better understanding the readiness of the current device and location and measure the network performance for further investigation. The tool is easily accessible from the dedicated URL and can run even on mobile devices, making it user-friendly. With this update, admins would no longer need to take any admin action as the rollout of this tool will be automatic.
