Toggle to new Outlook
Microsoft 365 for Enterprise users will be switched to new Outlook for Windows starting from April 2026, allowing users to revert back to the classic version if desired. The change is expected to improve user experience with modern features, including Copilot, theming, and time-saving features such as Pinning and Snoozing mails. The automatic rollout requires no admin action, but opt-out options are available. Organizations are urged to prepare for the migration and users will receive notice before the switch. Feedback on the new Outlook is welcome, and users can provide it using Feedback in the Help ribbon. However, users will not be toggled if they have a perpetual license in use, an on-premise account, have opted out of automatic toggling, or if the new Outlook toggle is hidden via policy.
