Meeting effectiveness surveys and plans coming in the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Teams
Microsoft Teams is introducing surveys and plans to facilitate effective meeting habits for users with Viva Insights subscriptions. With meeting effectiveness surveys, organizers can view aggregated feedback on meetings they organized. They can gain insights on areas of improvement and promote a healthy meeting culture. Moreover, effective meeting plans allow organizers to create and share plans that help establish team meeting norms. This update, set to roll out worldwide by end of October 2022, is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 85660.
The meeting effectiveness surveys are turned on by default for all users, and display at the end of select meetings in Teams with 5 or more attendees. These surveys have three questions that include criteria such as clear next steps, attendee participation, and successful agenda. Organizers with Viva Insights subscriptions can view anonymous feedback and aggregated results on the Viva insights app in Teams, where they can also access insights on how to improve future meetings. Administrators can turn off the surveys for the entire organization, while organizers have the autonomy to turn off meeting effectiveness surveys through the effective meetings plan feature. By using these plans and surveys, users can now provide feedback, collaborate better, and improve meeting outcomes.
This update is aimed to benefit Microsoft Teams users and administrating organizations. The introduction of the meeting effectiveness surveys and plans will enable more effective communication and collaboration practices, ultimately resulting in improved work effectiveness.
