Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Administrative units support

Microsoft Purview's Insider Risk Management now supports administrative units, allowing administrators to subdivide their organization into smaller units and manage specific members within those units. This feature enables administrators to assign permissions to specific admins or role groups based on their internal policies and organizational requirements. With privacy as a priority, Insider Risk Management ensures that users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to maintain user-level privacy. Insider Risk Management detects potential insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations, by correlating various signals. This feature is now generally available on the web cloud instance GCC, DoD, GCC High.
