SharePoint: Updating all News Posts to “Made for Email”

SharePoint is introducing a change that will make every news post created "Made for Email" by default. This change follows the positive reception of the "Made for Email" News templates which allow access to send the full distribution as an email. Irrespective of how a new News Post is created, whether through copying a previous post or using an existing template, the author will be able to access sending functionality for the full webpart library by default. However, authors may still select "all" webparts in the webpart picker to view the full library. This change is set to be implemented on May CY2024 for all instances including GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), DoD, and GCC High.
