Microsoft Project for the web: New Assigned to Me view for Project tasks
If you're a Microsoft Project user, you might find this update to be of great use. The Assigned to Me view in Microsoft Planner, Microsoft To Do, and the Microsoft Teams Task app can now display all Microsoft 365 tasks assigned to a user, including Project on the web tasks. This feature is set to roll out by mid-May 2024 and is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 382207. As part of this feature, Project on the web tasks will be synced with Planner, giving users greater visibility of their tasks across platforms. However, if you don't want Project on the web data to cross the data boundary, you can turn off this feature in the Microsoft 365 admin center before March 6, 2024. Overall, this update aims to improve task management and collaboration, streamlining user workflows.
