Microsoft Purview | eDiscovery: Keyword report in Review set
Microsoft Purview's eDiscovery feature is set to offer the ability to generate and download keyword reports from review sets utilizing KQL queries. Microsoft 365 is responsible for the upcoming release with the ID 171751 roadmap between December 2024 and March 2025. Existing workflows will remain undisturbed; however, the feature's impact on eDiscovery processes must be assessed beforehand. Users will be able to download hit-by-term query reports on KQL queries made in review sets, which will include the volume and count of items that are hit. This feature is exclusively available in the new user experience for eDiscovery's public preview on the Microsoft Purview portal and is not accessible in the classic eDiscovery Premium user experience. The feature will become available by default and will not alter organizations' current eDiscovery workflows. To access this feature, users must navigate to Cases (preview) > Review sets > Actions menu > Query report (preview). By generating hit-by-term reports on keywords and KQL compound queries, users can view items with hits in a single view. Preparing for the feature's impact on your organization's eDiscovery process is essential.
