Microsoft Outlook for Android users, get ready for a more efficient update! The Settings page is getting a makeover to make it easier for users to access the necessary settings. This update, which is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 185387, will roll out in mid-February 2024 for Standard Release users and is expected to be completed by the end of February 2024.
It's important to note that while the placement of settings will change on the Settings page, the functionality will remain the same. A few notable changes include Help & Feedback moving to the bottom of the Settings page and having to select Accounts on the top-level Settings page to see all accounts. Additionally, storage accounts will now be merged with their associated mail account on the account list. This means that if both your Microsoft 365 email account and OneDrive account are connected to Outlook, you will see only one entry that includes both the email and storage account settings
No action is needed to prepare for this change. However, it may be helpful to notify users of this update and update relevant documentation accordingly.
