Launching new way to open links in Edge from Outlook for iOS and Android

In a bid to offer users more control over preferences, Outlook for iOS and Android will soon prompt users to choose their preferred browser when opening links. Currently, links are automatically opened in the default browser. However, with the new update, users can select their preferred browser and configure that preference in their Outlook Mobile settings. The change is currently being rolled out, with users being provided with the option to download Edge if it isn't already installed. We apologize for not prior communication about this update. A configuration to turn off the new experience is currently being worked on and will be unveiled in due course.

For organizations, this change will mean users will have to select their preferred browser when opening links. If Edge isn't installed, the option to download it will be provided. This post provides the message ID MC531738 for reference.
