Microsoft 365 admin center: Google to Entra Identity Sync service
The Microsoft 365 admin center has rolled out the Google to Entra Identity Sync service, a tool that allows for cloud-to-cloud user identity onboarding and one-way synchronization from Google Workspace to Entra ID. This feature will be included in the M365 Admin center, enabling customers who are moving from Google Workspace to M365 to create their identities in the M365 farm and move Drive and Mail content into OneDrive and Exchange Online. The tool is currently in the preview phase and is expected to be released in January CY2025 following a preview in December CY2024. This feature is available on the web cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) and was created on November 23, 2024.
