SharePoint admin center: Streamlining management of site related information across Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups
The SharePoint admin center is set to expand its site detail panel by incorporating Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 groups information, streamlining the management of site-related attributes across these platforms. Admins with permissions to SharePoint, Teams, and Groups admin centers will be able to modify and oversee membership, group name, and description from a single site detail panel located in the SharePoint admin center's Active Sites tab. For SharePoint admins with read-only access to the new attributes, the new update will still be available, although with limited functionality. The preview date is scheduled for October CY2022, and the platform will be available on the Web Cloud Instance worldwide and GCC.
This update will offer greater efficiency and convenience for managing and grouping attributes effortlessly across multiple platforms, making the process faster, more streamlined, and more convenient for admins.
