SharePoint admin center: Streamlining management of site information across Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups

SharePoint is introducing an update to its site detail panel which incorporates information from Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 100053 Standard Release and is scheduled to roll out from mid-November 2022 to late-December 2022. Once implemented, administrators with permissions to SharePoint, Teams, and Groups can manage all their attributes (such as group name, membership, description) from a single panel in the SharePoint admin center. SharePoint admins will have read-only access to the new attributes.

With this update, SharePoint is streamlining the site information management process, making it easier for administrators to manage all related attributes. No preparation is required from your end, and the update seeks to make site information management more efficient and streamlined for all users.
