Generate unique join links for external presenters so they can easily join events

Organizing events in Teams just got more streamlined with the latest feature that generates unique join links for external presenters. This feature allows external presenters to join events with ease, with no need for manual admission by organizers. The feature uses exclusive Teams join links, eliminating the complexities associated with adding external presenters such as manually admitting them from the event lobby or modifying their event roles. The feature is available for webinars only and not exclusive to Teams Premium.

The rollout for this feature will begin in late October and is expected to be completed by early November for both Standard and GCC releases. After implementation, users can find the feature on the webinar scheduling forms. Users can update internal documentation to include this new feature and refer to the customized email template that external presenters will receive.

The Generate unique join links feature is suitable for external presenters outside your organization, including guests, federated, unfederated, non-AAD, and anonymous users. By streamlining the event admission process, organizers can ensure a hassle-free event experience and focus on delivering quality presentations.
