SharePoint: Accessibility Updates to Tables
SharePoint has implemented accessibility updates to tables within the text webpart, allowing for more flexibility in layout and alternative text labels for screen readers. These updates aim to improve the user experience for those with accessibility needs and empower all users to create content that is more inclusive. The product was released in the general availability phase in November CY2023 and is available on the web and cloud platforms for Standard Multi-Tenant, GCC, GCC High, and DoD instances.
