Retirement of Policy Management for Draft with Copilot in Outlook
Microsoft has announced the retirement of the Policy Management feature for Draft with Copilot in Outlook on April 15, 2024. As a result, administrators won't be able to disable Draft with Copilot in Outlook, and instead, eDiscovery for Copilot in Outlook is recommended, and they encourage users to explore this option. The Cloud Policy service for Microsoft 365 will no longer support this feature, and administrators won't be able to disable Draft with Copilot in Outlook from that date. Admins can still check which users have the feature disabled using the Cloud Policy service for Microsoft 365. Microsoft recommends utilizing eDiscovery for Copilot features in Outlook and provides a link to learn how to draft an email message with Copilot in Outlook.
This change is set to come into effect on April 15, 2024, so users have ample time to prepare and understand how this change will impact their organization.
