Microsoft Teams: App update is available for phones with the Teams app installed

Attention, Microsoft Teams users! A new app update, version 1449/1.0.94.2024071104, is being rolled out in mid to late July 2024. This update promises to add some exciting new features, such as enhanced call transfer, rich call history, simplified contact management, private line features and explicit consent for recording. It is recommended that organizations update their Teams app on their phones to gain access to these features. This update is generally available worldwide, including GCC, and will begin rolling out in mid-July 2024, with plans to complete by late July 2024. The new features will provide users with a better experience and improved functionalities such as the ability to provide explicit consent for recording before a Teams meeting. It also offers a simplified experience managing contacts, enhanced call transfer actions, and a new private line feature for boss/delegate scenarios, which gives the boss a dedicated private line for all incoming calls for confidentiality.
