Power Automate – Secure credential retrieval in Power Automate for Desktop
We are announcing the Secure credential retrieval in Power Automate for Desktop feature for Power Automate. This feature enhances security and ease of use by allowing you to securely retrieve and manage credentials directly within your desktop flows. This feature will reach general availability on April 30, 2025. How does this affect me? This feature eliminates the need to pass credentials manually, reducing the risk of exposure and streamlining workflow processes. A new action named “Get Credential” in Power Automate for desktop will allow you to securely retrieve and utilize credentials directly within your desktop flows. During the preview phase, this action will support credentials created via CyberArk, accessible within the specified section of the Power Automate portal. What do I need to do to prepare? This message is for awareness and no action is required. If you would like more information on this feature, please visit how to use the credential in a desktop flow action. Message ID: MC1065044
