Microsoft Syntex: Split PDF Pages into new PDF files with the Extract action in OneDrive for iOS

Microsoft has launched a new feature for users of OneDrive for iOS that enables them to split a PDF file into multiple PDFs using the Extract file action. This allows users to extract and split various pages of a PDF into a new PDF file that can be stored in SharePoint or OneDrive. The feature will rollout by the end of May and the capability will soon be extended to other clients such as Syntex browsers, OneDrive and SharePoint. By employing this new feature, users can now avoid sharing unnecessary information and tailor the information they want to share or view with others. The process of splitting a PDF in Syntex using the Extract action is relatively straightforward and requires users to open the PDF and select the Extract option from the file actions section. The user can then select the page(s) they want to separate, specify a location to save the extracted PDF and a Your PDF is ready banner will appear once the new PDF is processed.

It's important to note that this feature will be available only to Microsoft Syntex licensed users and those without a Syntex license will not have access. However, Microsoft plans to bring this capability to other clients soon, so users can stay tuned for announcements regarding this. Overall, this new feature provides an easier and efficient way for users to split PDF files, saving time and making data sharing easier and more effective.
